MAKING “CENTS” of VENTS

Recent news publications have highlighted ventilators as critical pieces of medical equipment to treat patients with COVID-19. Hospital supply chains have scrambled to procure enough of the needed vents and related disposable products. The critical details and differences among the products have made a challenging situation that much harder. To the uninitiated all ventilators are lumped into one single category, but understanding the differences is important to make sure any substitutions meet clinical needs. This WebEx, hosted by a Respiratory Therapist and vendor representative, will present information on the different categories of ventilators and related accessories.
